Our Mission
The PI Tech Network is the home of competitive technology at Paul International Public Charter School in Washington, DC. At Paul International, we don't just join organizations — we build platforms for student success. PTN is a student-built ecosystem where young people design, code, create, compete, and lead, turning passion for technology into real-world opportunity, scholarships, and careers.
Excellence is the standard, teamwork is the culture, and opportunity is the goal.
Students grow into innovators, creators, and leaders through real competition.
Talent is everywhere — we build the platform that lets it show.
The Four Pillars
Technology Student Association
A competitive STEM chapter where students take on state and national events in coding, video game design, podcasting, and engineering — and stand on the podium. Includes a student leadership pipeline that has produced an elected DC TSA state officer.
TSA Chapter →Computer Science & Coding
A Project Lead the Way (PLTW) aligned pathway covering algorithms, data types, app design, pair programming, and computational thinking — preparing students for real tech careers and competition.
Code Corner →E-Sports
Competitive gaming as a career pathway, building strategy, communication, and resilience. Teams compete for regional titles and scholarship opportunities across Street Fighter, NBA 2K, and Super Smash Bros.
GG Report →College & Career Readiness
From industry internships (including Microsoft) to a live College Success Dashboard tracking FAFSA, DC TAG, scholarships, and college acceptances — connecting students directly to the workforce and higher education.

This Is a Real CS Project
- 1
Web Architecture
This site is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — the same languages used by professional web developers. Every page you see was coded by a student.
- 2
API Integration
Our YouTube embeds use the YouTube embed API to pull real video content directly into the site. That is the same concept behind apps that show you weather, maps, or social media feeds.
- 3
Live Digital Product
PTN is not a classroom exercise — it is a live, publicly hosted website that real people can visit. Managing content on a live product is a real-world CS and media skill.
- 4
Cross-Platform Publishing Strategy
Our team publishes across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok in addition to this website. Managing content across multiple platforms with different formats and audiences is a professional digital media skill.
