Salutatorian Address · Class of 2026Khaleed Balogun Earns Full-Ride Scholarship
to Montgomery College
PI Tech Network proudly congratulates senior member Khaleed Balogun, who has earned a full-ride scholarship to Montgomery College to study Computer Science Engineering in the Honors Program. Khaleed's achievement reflects the work ethic, talent, and leadership we build into every student in the network — and it's exactly the kind of classroom-to-career pathway PTN exists to create.
Khaleed also made history as DC TSA's first-ever State Reporter, serving as a state officer in 2025–2026 — a fitting origin for a future engineer who helped build a student news network.
Making History
Marisela Chirino Hernandez Elected DC TSA President Elect
In the chapter's very first year, Marisela was elected DC TSA State Secretary — one of the highest student offices in the district. She delivered her address from the podium at the University of the District of Columbia during the State Leadership Conference.
Recognized for her superior work and leadership, she was elected DC TSA President Elect for 2026–2027, making her one of the most accomplished student leaders in Paul International's history.

Children's Story Team Takes Their Book to 5th Graders
The PI Tech TSA Children's Story team visited a 5th grade class to share the tech-focused children's book they created for competition — giving elementary students an up-close look at how technology shapes everyday life.
