The Paul Pirates Esports program continues to build momentum, and we have another exciting week of competition to celebrate!
♟️ Chess: Another Win for the Preston Legacy Team
On Monday, Freshman Walter Guardado secured his second win competing under the Preston Legacy Team. Walter's continued success is helping establish a strong new generation of competitive chess at Paul.
Our competitive freshman chess group has now grown to three players:
- Eric Wilson
- Walter Guardado
- Edgardo Reyes
It is exciting to see our freshmen stepping into competitive play and carrying forward the legacy of the Paul Chess Club.
🎮 Esports Continues Wednesday
The competition doesn't stop with chess! On Wednesday, our Super Smash Bros. team will take on Digital Pioneers Academy. We are looking forward to seeing our Pirates back in action and continuing to represent Paul PCS in competitive esports.
🔥 Next Week: Brawlhalla Enters the Arena
Next week, Junior Ezekiel Dawkins begins his campaign in Brawlhalla as he represents Paul in the PlayVS Eastern Regional Brawlhalla competition. This gives us another opportunity to expand our esports presence and compete across multiple titles.
